About Us
Foundation For Development Action and Charity is a nonprofit resource agency dedicated to empowering communities and organizations through expert-driven development solutions. We specialize in capacity building, grant writing, project monitoring, evaluation, and research to support NGOs and development professionals in achieving sustainable social impact. Our team of experienced professionals collaborates with diverse stakeholders to address critical social challenges, foster resilience, and drive long-term growth. By leveraging data-driven strategies and innovative approaches, we enable our partners to create meaningful change and transform lives across marginalized communities.
History
The Foundation For Development Action and Charity was born out of a shared vision among a group of like-minded professionals working in national and international organizations and academia. Recognizing a critical gap in capacity building for development organizations and professionals, we united to form an association aimed at addressing this pressing need.
We realized that while many individuals and organizations are passionate about driving social change, they often lack the necessary knowledge, skills, and expertise to effectively turn their aspirations into impactful actions. Our goal was clear: to empower organizations and professionals by equipping them with the tools they need to succeed—be it through skill-building, resource mobilization, or strategic guidance.
From enhancing knowledge and skills to accessing funding and resources, we set out to provide holistic support. Our efforts extend to advocacy, developing organizational and resource materials, designing, implementing, and monitoring programs, and ensuring that every initiative achieves the best possible outcomes.
With this vision, the Foundation For Development Action and Charity was formally established and registered as a trust on May 27, 2016. Since then, we have been on a mission to empower organizations and individuals, transforming passion into meaningful and sustainable action. Together, we aim to build a stronger, more capable development sector that delivers tangible results for communities in need.
